I’m so excited to work with you! Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for your upcoming session:
Outfit Choice
- Wear what makes you feel confident! Confidence is key, and it shows in your photos. In general, choose outfits that give you shape, and avoid small patterns (big patterns are totally fine!)
- Nails: Make sure your nails are in good shape—fresh polish or no polish works best!
- Hair & Makeup: You can choose to get your hair and makeup done, but it’s not required. If you prefer to do it yourself, add a little extra bronzer, blush, lipstick, and hairspray than usual to make sure you look your best on camera.
- Spray Tan: If you love the look of a spray tan, schedule it a few days before your shoot to let it fade just slightly.
- Poses: Feel free to look up pose ideas if you want, but don’t worry—I’ll guide you through everything during the shoot to make sure you feel comfortable and look amazing!
- Invoice: Please make sure to pay the invoice online before your session.
- Touch-up items: Lipstick, gloss, and hairspray for quick touch-ups.
If you want photos in your graduation robe, pick an outfit that will look good under the robe (think about how it will photograph with the robe on top!). - Comfortable shoes for walking between locations.
- A friend or parent can be super helpful to carry things, but it’s not necessary.
- A towel if you’re planning to get in the fountain.
- Fun props like confetti cannons, a speaker with music, smoke bombs, a sorority stole, cowboy boots, or a hat—anything that will make your session more fun and uniquely YOU!
- Leave unnecessary items in the car (like your phone) to avoid distractions.
Quick Info:
- Exciting Memories: Graduation is one of the most special milestones of your life, and I’m honored to help you preserve it with stunning photographs that will last a lifetime.
- Busy Season: As graduation approaches, campus gets busier, and some spots might require waiting due to other photographers. To ensure you have the best experience, I recommend booking a longer session during peak months (April-May).
- Weather Policy: Photoshoots will proceed as scheduled unless there are extreme weather conditions that make the shoot unsafe or impractical. Decisions regarding rescheduling due to weather will be made on the day of the session, at the photographer's discretion.
