COVID Disney World with a Toddler and Baby

For reference, my kiddos were 3 and 11 months when we went in April of 2021. I probably would have waiting until they were a little older, but we had an amazing opportunity to go with work so we said, why not!

Before you go:
-*Get the app* and put your tickets in your apple wallet then you don’t have to wait in will call line! This is a new feature they added a few months ago and it let us skip big lines of people waiting to get their tickets! Also the app has tons of info like wait times and height requirements for rides.
-Research “rider swap” and take advantage of it (wish I did this, I didn’t understand it but now I do, and I feel like I really missed out. Its basically a way for your group to get fast passes when you have littles)
-You can rent strollers from kingdom strollers they drop off at your hotel (I flew with mine but a friend did this and said it was awesome). You’re definitely gonna want a stroller to hold all your stuff. You have to park it while you ride and sometimes cast members move strollers to get them out of the way, so just be aware that it might end up somewhere you didn’t put it!
-Defintely have a plan for rides, we lost time when we didn’t have an action plan
-Measure your kids height before you get to the park and lookup which rides they can and can’t do before breaking hearts

Buy and bring:
-Portable fan for stroller naps, rain ponchos so that weather doesn’t end your day
-Bring a small bag/fanny pack for money and phone to keep on you and a diaper bag to leave in stroller
-Bring in your own snacks and refillable water bottles and food
-Athleta workout masks for kids and adults- these are adjustable and easy to breathe in! Kids 2 and up have to wear masks although I didn’t mask Ella most of the time and no one said anything.

When you’re there:
-Order food on the app, we didn’t do any special dining just went with the flow more
-Baby care center is awesome for nursing and pumping and changing, worth walking to instead of nursing in bathrooms!

Things that were different because of COVID:
-No character meet and greets up close, they had characters but didn’t advertise the time they would come out. Same with parades! You would just happen upon a random float or character.

What am I missing? Let me know in comments!
